My friend Sidney Eileen has lyme disease.  She is an amazing artist and seamstress specializing in corsetry.  She takes painstaking care to make sure her tutorials and classes are accessible and free to everyone.  If you know Sid, you know she is one of the sweetest people.  She is a fantastic teacher and has been a patient, kind mentor to me.  

This disease has been taking its toll on my friend for years.  She has been valiantly pushing through it, trying to keep her business afloat.  However, it has reached the point where she physically cannot work.  If you have ever seen a person with so much life and creativity unable to do what she has dedicated her life to and what makes her happiest, then you understand how frustrating it can be to see that and be unable to do anything.  

Well, hopefully you can.  There's an indiegogo fundraiser [link] to help raise money for her medication as she has no health insurance and cannot hold down a job.  Even if you can't donate, just spreading the word would be fantastic.  If you can donate, please know that Sid and her friend Lucy have created perks for those who do.  If you know Sid you know she can't accept straight donations; she always has to give something back.
